2. Windows Server Administration

 

Editions of Windows server 2016, installing windows Server 2016,  Configuring the Disks for  RAID, Configuring the NTFS and share permissions, Configuring the Printer, Installing and configuring ADDS, DNS, DHCP, IIS and Monitoring the performance of the server.

 

3. Linux Administration

 

Introduction Linux Operating System, Installing and configuring Linux, Creating users and Groups, Assigning permissions, installing and configuring apache web server, installing and configuring EFS server.

 

4. Virtualization

 

Introduction to Virtualization, Types of Virtualization, Types of Hypervisors, Installing and Configuring VMware workstation, Installing and Configuring ESXi Server, Installing and Configuring Hyper-v.

 

 

PART B: 40 Hours

 

5. Cloud Computing

 

Introduction to Cloud Computing, Cloud Service Models, Cloud Deployment Models, Cloud benefits, Cloud Service providers.

 

6. AWS Security Services

 

How to create a AWS Subscription account, Creating IAM users and Groups, Creating Policies, Assigning policies for users, groups and Roles. Configuring Password policy, Configuring MFA, Connecting to AWS Account through AWS Console, AWS CLI and SDK/API

 

7. AWS Compute Services

 

Creating Linux and Windows VMs using EC2 Service, Creating and attaching the Volumes, Taking the Snapshots, Restoring the VMs using snapshots, Configuring the Load balancing and auto scaling for the Applications which are running in EC2 instance. AWS Elastic Beanstalk to quickly deploy and manage applications. AWS Lambda is a Server less computing. You can run your code without provisioning and managing the servers. You can write a code to trigger lambda function from other AWS services.

 

8. AWS Storage Services

 

Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) is used to store and retrieve any amount of data. It is an Object level storage. Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) is used to store Volumes (Drives) of EC2 Instances. It is a Block level Storage. Amazon S3 glacier is used to store the Archive data for longer duration with low cost. Amazon Elastic File System (EFS) to create a shared storage for the instances.

 

9. AWS database Services

 

Amazon Relational Database Service(RDS) is used to create and configure the Relational databases. Different database engines supported by RDS service are MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL. Amazon DynamoDB is a NoSQL database to store and retrieve any amount of data and to serve the request traffic.

 

10. Networking and Content Delivery

 

Amazon CloudFront is a Content Delivery Network used to increase the performance and reduce the latency while accessing the data over the internet from various locations. Amazon Route53 is a DNS service to create a Zone files for your domain. Configuring the resource records and routing policies. Amazon Virtual private Cloud is used to create and configure the Virtual Networks, Subnets, and Security Groups, network ACL, NAT, Gateways, VPN Connections and VPC Endpoints to provide the communication between instances in the VPC to other AWS Services.

 

11. Management Services

 

CloudWatch is a monitoring solution CloudTrail is to store the event logs.
